CYNTHIA DAVIDSON
Several years ago I heard an author read work from a still-unpublished memoir at a writing conference. She recounted her experiences growing up amidst the chaos of civil war in Beirut, Lebanon, and I was captivated.
Imagine my surprise to run into her months later in my library writing group? I still get chills over this gleeful coincidence.
Davidson's writing is deeply self-reflective, and instructive, especially for younger generations wondering how to find healing in a world so ruefully twisted. Her wisdom and fire inspires me all the time.
