Service Description

Streamline the process of integrating self-published books into library collections with a librarian's help! This service involves 3 major components: 1) an original cataloging record for your book 2) a written review endorsing your book's quality and merit for a library collection and 3) advice for marketing and attracting attention for book talks and events you may decide to offer at local libraries to find new readers. After I catalog your book, I can upload the record to OCLC, allowing other libraries around the world to easily copy catalog the record for inclusion in their institution's collection. You may then use our endorsement as part of a promotions package we workshop together that you can use to solicit libraries for the opportunity to introduce your book to a public audience. This service eliminates the time and labor barriers, for you and the libraries you approach with your book!
